To be eligible for clinical placement, nursing students must complete a CPR certification course, a Tuberculosis test, and a CORI form. Students also are responsible for providing proof of vaccination for Influenza and COVID-19. More information about these polices, including the necessary deadlines and logistics regarding the credentials, will be emailed to students prior to the start of their clinical.
Similar to course registration, students will have the opportunity to select the time and location they prefer at the beginning of each semester. That being said, options fill up quickly and students are not guaranteed a specific clinical site or day. Clinicals typically begin the second week of the semester.
